Mid Atlantic Region Tryouts for High School National Tournament

Our region has been allotted eight teams for the 2007 National High School Tournament. The region encompasses eight chapters of USL and includes Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. The number of head coach memberships in each region determined the amount of teams.

The Baltimore Chapter will hold tryouts on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Centennial High School with the full region tryout on Sunday, May 6th at Notre Dame Prep in Towson, Maryland. We will be looking for the top players in the Mid Atlantic Region. All schools sending players must be a member of USL (head coach membership by April 1st) and each player must be an individual member. No seniors will be able to try-out due to the Senior Division Tournament. The Baltimore Chapter along with the Western Maryland Chapter will hold tryouts on Sunday, April 29 at Centennial High School. Each chapter will be allotted a specific number of players for the following Sunday tryouts. Players selected on the 29th will be on a Mid Atlantic Team. Sunday, May 6th, players will be placed on one of the eight teams. The Sunday tryout (May 6) is mandatory. There will be a twenty-five dollar (cash) player participation fee for each participant to be paid at the April 29th tryout. Due to the high number of teams in our chapter, each member school may send five field players and one goalkeeper. The tryout/coaches information form is attached to this email. Please complete the form online and email back following instructions.
